9. Product Disclaimers & Advertising Standards

Vision ReTech is committed to transparent, accurate, and legally compliant product listings. The following notes explain the meaning of all asterisked (*) or superscripted items appearing on our website, product cards, and promotional materials.

9.1 — MRP / Launch Price (*)

Where a strikethrough price is shown alongside our selling price, it represents the original manufacturer's recommended retail price (MRP) or launch price at the time the product was first commercially released in India. This figure is provided for reference only to help customers understand the original retail value of the product when new. It does not represent the current new-in-box market price, which may have changed since launch. The percentage saving shown (e.g. “-58%”) is calculated against this original launch MRP and is not a comparison to current market prices. All prices are inclusive of applicable GST. Vision ReTech reserves the right to revise selling prices at any time without prior notice.

9.2 — GPU / Graphics Card Variant (¹)

Where a specific GPU model is listed (e.g. AMD Radeon Pro 5500M), this refers to a common configuration for that product model. Actual units in stock may have the standard GPU variant (e.g. AMD Radeon Pro 5300M on the MacBook Pro 16" A2141). GPU configurations are confirmed at the time of listing and verified during our 40-point ReChecked diagnostic. Customers are encouraged to request exact unit specifications before purchase. 9.3 — Windows / Boot Camp Compatibility (²)

Intel-based MacBooks (e.g. MacBook Pro A2141, A2251) support Apple Boot Camp, which allows installation of Windows 10 or Windows 11 directly on the hardware alongside macOS. A valid, separately purchased Windows licence is required and is not included in the purchase price of any laptop sold by Vision ReTech.

Apple Silicon MacBooks (e.g. MacBook Pro A2338 with M1 chip, and all subsequent M-series models) do NOT support Apple Boot Camp and cannot natively run Windows on bare metal. Windows may be run on Apple Silicon Macs only via approved third-party virtualisation software such as Parallels Desktop (sold separately; subject to its own licensing terms). Vision ReTech makes no warranty regarding the performance or compatibility of Windows in a virtualised environment on Apple Silicon hardware.

This distinction is material information. Customers requiring Windows compatibility must confirm this with Vision ReTech before purchase. Vision ReTech accepts no liability for misunderstanding arising from failure to verify compatibility prior to purchase.

9.4 — Battery Life Estimates (³)

Battery life figures (e.g. “up to 17 hours”) are based on the original manufacturer’s published specifications under controlled test conditions. Actual battery life will vary depending on, but not limited to: display brightness, running applications, background processes, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth usage, and battery age. Refurbished units may show reduced battery capacity compared to new. Where a unit has had its battery replaced during the ReNewed process, this will be noted. Vision ReTech does not guarantee that any unit will achieve manufacturer-stated battery life figures.

9.5 — Product Images ()

Product images shown on the website are official manufacturer press images or representative stock images sourced from publicly available official manufacturer resources (e.g. Apple, Dell, HP official websites and CDNs). These images are used for identification and illustrative purposes only. The actual unit delivered may differ in appearance, particularly with respect to minor cosmetic wear consistent with its grade classification. Vision ReTech makes every effort to accurately describe cosmetic condition through its grading system.

9.6 — Product Grading

Vision ReTech uses the following grading definitions for all refurbished products:

Grade classifications are applied by Vision ReTech certified technicians after physical inspection. Grading is subjective and based on our internal standards. Images of individual units are available on request prior to purchase.

9.7 — Refurbishment Process

All products sold by Vision ReTech as “refurbished” have undergone our proprietary three-step process: (1) ReChecked — a 40-point diagnostic covering hardware functionality, display, battery, ports, keyboard, touchpad, audio, Wi-Fi, and camera; (2) ReNewed — replacement of any failed or degraded components with genuine or equivalent-grade parts; (3) RePacked — cleaned, reset to factory settings, and repackaged with all stated accessories. The Vision ReTech Warranty covers hardware failure attributable to defects present at the time of sale, and does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, or misuse.

9.8 — Consumer Protection Act, 2019

Vision ReTech operates in full compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India), the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and applicable Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) regulations. All product descriptions are prepared in good faith and are accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of listing. Any discrepancy between a product listing and the actual unit received should be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery. We will resolve such disputes in accordance with our Return & Warranty Policy.
